Honestly this “bio” took me a while to write because every time I sat down at the computer and began typing it felt like I was forcing flowery words, and grammatically correct sentence structure, and eloquent explanations. I was striving to say the right things, make a good impression, and project a favorable image.
But let's get real here. I’m pretty much a mess. I’m totally unworthy. And I’m really small.
However, I am also fully redeemed. I have been credited righteousness. And I have a really big God. When I'm fearful, He covers me. When I'm doubtful, he provides for me. When I'm selfish, He is generous.
So this is not really about me, it is about Him. And that's why I'm headed to Uganda. I want to be used for His glory, give my talent for His purposes, work for His cause, and advocate for His children.
I’m just a regular ‘ol person battling fear and complacency by stepping out and believing for big things.
I read this somewhere and wrote it down once. I don't have credit for who wrote it but it bears repeating.
“I DECLARE I will experience God’s faithfulness. I will not worry. I will not doubt. I will keep my trust in Him, knowing that He will not fail me. I will give birth to every promise God put in my heart and I will become everything God created me to be. This is my declaration.”
And this is just the beginning.
