"I believe the Lord started preparing my heart for this media mission long before I had ever heard about The Archibald Project.
In the summer of 2012 I began babysitting for a family in my hometown whose son was adopted from Bulgaria. That summer I grew to know this sweet, precious life that had been placed forever in the hands of a beautiful and loving family. I’ve been able to witness the end result of the adoption process, where a child finds his or her forever family, and let me tell you, it is beautiful.
After two summers of babysitting for this family, a seed was planted in my heart, and a few months ago my sister had mentioned The Archibald Project to me out of the blue. I started researching about the organization and felt called to apply and in doing so, in less than a few days I will begin my journey to Africa to advocate for orphans and to witness the beginning stages of adoption. I can’t thank my family and friends enough for supporting me in this opportunity to use my passion to serve and love these children and I can’t thank The Archibald Project enough for allowing me the opportunity to serve on this media mission.
I can’t wait to meet and capture the faces of these beautiful souls and to work alongside other artists who are willing to use their talent to bring glory to God."
